STONE'S 3RD BIRTHDAY

Mason's catch
Cooper Lampkin

The birthday boy!

Maddox and Stephen Greer (is that precious?)

Kate, her daddy, & the "big" catch

Today we went to a fishing party for Stone Myrick. Kate had a great time until she stepped in the lake and then we left kicking and screaming....ahh, the terrible 3s are so fun!

ZOO TRIP

Is this a hoot?

Scott and I took Kate to the zoo for the first time. She loved it. We can't wait until she is big enough to go to a really big zoo like in San Diego!

Would you like a snack?

Yesterday afternoon I was putting on my tennis shoes to take Kate for a ride in the stroller and she came in holding a box of PopTarts and a bag of powdered donuts (is that healthy or what?). As she came in she was saying, "Do you want a poptart or a donut, a poptart or a donut? Pick just one!" I have really been working with her on getting just one thing instead of every little thing she picks up and wants. I guess she is starting to pay attention!

KATE'S FIRST TRIP TO THE DENTIST

Today, I took Kate for her first dentist visit. We have been talking to her about it for weeks and she was actually looking forward to it. That was before she found out she had to lie down and let the hygienist actually clean her teeth! She squealed through the entire process, but I guess that was to be expected for her first time. The first picture is of her sitting on the chair/bed after her cleaning thinking this is not too bad. The second is when she sees the dentist coming into the room!!! She did a little pre-clean entertainment for them by singing "The Itsy, Bitsy Spider" and the "ABC song"!

THE BIG SNOW

Last night when I went to bed, it was snowing. I could not wait to wake up this morning and show Kate. We had just the slightest dusting of snow, but she thought it was such a big deal. We went outside just for a few minutes to let her see the snow. I scraped just enough off her slide for the tiniest snowball that she brought inside to show her daddy. I can't wait until she is big enough for Scott and I to take her to see the snow in Lake Tahoe!
